Media Kit
The Brave Discussion is a community outreach of mum bloggers who are vitally concerned with people, planet and the role we must step-up to in society. As such our posts are focused areas that can be best described as the LOHAS market. We do this through telling powerful stories across our social communities.
LOHAS is an acronym for Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability (LOHAS), a market segment focused on health and fitness, the environment, personal development, sustainable living, and social justice.
These sectors can be further broken down into subjects relevant to our blogger community and respective readers:
Food & Nutrition
Mind and Body
Transport and Leisure
Home Life
Building and Energy
Work and Money
Personal Development and Inspiration
At first glance, it may appear that the LOHAS sectors have little in common for bloggers but you would be surprised how many bloggers through their own personal blogs or focused subject blogs communicate LOHAS principles.
Millions of consumers believe there is commonality that transcends any differences. The interconnections between global economies, cultures, environments, and political systems play a large role in the holistic worldview of the typical LOHAS Blogger/Consumer, but equally important are the interconnections of mind, body and spirit within individuals.
This focus on Personal Development, with the ultimate goal of achieving his or her full human potential, is of utmost concern to the LOHAS consumer. The current growth in this market group strongly supports the notion that spirituality is no longer relegated to the New Age periphery but is undeniably migrating to the center of mainstream cultural awareness.
